Those who would like to join in the fun of modern square dancing and great afternoons of entertainment are invited to join the Twirlers Square Dance Club, which is starting a new class on Wednesday, September 19, at 7 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room. Beginning square dance classes are held every Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge and are open to both residents and non-residents. The class is open to new students for the first two weeks. Singles, couples and families are welcome – children must be in 4th grade or above and accompanied by a parent at all times. A plus-level workshop is held from 6:15 to 7 p.m. Regular club dances are held on the second Sunday of each month in the Holiday Bay Room.
Led by Diana Gallagher, beginner line dance classes are held every Tuesday from 4:30 to 6 p.m., at the Lodge, except for the second Tuesday of the month when they are held in the City Multi-purpose Room. All ages are welcome. A beginning to intermediate line dance class is offered Wednesdays from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room. Each class is $4.
